As you take the courageous first step of coming to therapy, I am honored to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to allow you to explore what is holding you back. I believe that therapy is a process of building self compassion and acceptance. This allows you to grow and change the patterns of behavior that interfere with relationships, work, and life satisfaction.
Carl Jung once said “I am not what has happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” Through telling one’s story and being truly understood, counseling can help you to transform trauma to resilience. Choosing to explore how our past has shaped us is often a difficult journey, but one that leads to growth, healing, and self discovery.
I offer a welcoming and safe space for all people, from all walks of life. I work with a variety of issues, from depression and anxiety, to self harm, trauma and relationship challenges. We will work together and use a variety of tools and techniques to support you on your journey, including EMDR, DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
